EUCLID welcomes Minister of Foreign Affairs Doubane to Oversight Council

EUCLID is pleased to officially announce that H.E. Charles Armel Doubane, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Central African Republic and a graduate of the prestigious ENA in France, has formally joined EUCLID’s Oversight Council as permanent member.

He was formally Minister of Education and Ambassador/Permanent Representative to the United Nations. He is an expert in the legal status of intergovernmental universities, having written an authoritative report which was the basis for his doctoral dissertation which is now being prepared for approval and publication at EUCLID.

“The arrival of Minister Doubane is of great significance in view of his international stature as well as grounding in the Central African Republic, a country of great historical and diplomatic importance for EUCLID which maintains its historic headquarters in the capital Bangui. His voice on the Council will insure that EUCLID’s historic friendships and priorities will never be set aside, even as EUCLID gains an increasingly global stature as on the world’s most visible institutions of higher learning” noted the Council secretariat.
