Dr. Mubshar Ahmad is Associate Lecturer in Energy Studies at EUCLID. With a strong interdisciplinary background spanning engineering, physics, business, and sustainable development, he brings extensive industry experience and academic expertise to the critical fields of power systems and renewable energy.
He holds a B.Sc. in Physics from Stockton University, a B.Sc. in Electrical & Computer Engineering from Rutgers University, an M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT), an MBA from Strayer University, and a Ph.D. in Sustainable Development from EUCLID.
His academic credentials are complemented by substantial professional experience as a Lead/Senior Electrical Engineer in the electric utility sector across the United States and the United Kingdom, as well as an Electrical Engineer in Kuwait. These roles have given him deep, hands-on insight into power infrastructure, system operations, and energy project delivery in diverse regulatory and technical environments.
Dr. Ahmad's research and teaching interests center on power system studies, substation engineering and design, renewable energy analysis and design, as well as broader issues in sustainable development, environment, and climate change. He is particularly committed to advancing practical, data-driven solutions that support the global energy transition and promote long-term environmental sustainability.
Based in Kuwait with U.S. nationality, Dr. Ahmad enriches EUCLID's programs with a genuinely international industry perspective and a strong dedication to bridging engineering practice with sustainable development principles.
