Prof. Momodou Mustapha Fanneh is a distinguished Gambian economist and academic administrator serving as the Vice-Chancellor of EUCLID (Euclid University) at its Gambia Headquarters, a position he assumed in late 2023. Prior to this role, he was the Dean of the School of Business and Public Administration at the University of The Gambia (UTG), where he was instrumental in developing numerous graduate and post-graduate programs. Prof. Fanneh earned a Doctorate in Economics from Fordham University in New York, an MBA, an MSc in Economics, and a Post-Graduate Diploma in Transportation Engineering. His academic career includes teaching appointments as an Adjunct Professor at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, and as a Teaching Fellow at Fordham University. He is also a Senior Trainer and Research Associate at the Center for Policy, Research and Strategic Studies (CepRass) in The Gambia.
Prof. Fanneh's teaching interests are deeply rooted in various fields of economics. He is a Professor of Global Economics and Sustainability at EUCLID, with specialties including International Monetary and Trade Policies, Economic Growth and Forecasting, and Sustainability and Development. His pedagogical focus also encompasses Development Economics, Advanced Macroeconomics, Monetary Economics, and Capital Markets. These interests reflect an integrated approach to understanding the complex dynamics of global and national economies, bridging theoretical frameworks with practical policy applications.
