Dr. Denis Akankunda Bwesigye is an Associate Professor of Public Health at EUCLID and a distinguished health policy and epidemiologist whose research focuses on generating evidence for safe delivery, child survival, and HIV/AIDS surveillance. His scholarly contributions include authoring Uganda's first-ever National Community Health Strategy (2022-2026) and publishing research on incomplete HIV/AIDS reporting and noncommunicable disease risk assessment. Holding a Doctor of Public Health in Health Policy Management from SUNY Albany and an MA in Population and Reproductive Health Research from Mahidol University, his work is further recognized through his role as a Journal Review Board Member
