Dr. Oliver Dube

Lecturer in Environmental Science

Oliver Dube is a sustainability, natural capital, and agro‑economics practitioner with more than two decades of experience spanning climate adaptation, environmental economics, rural livelihoods, water governance, GIS, and environmental compliance. He holds a PhD in Sustainable Development and Diplomacy from EUCLID (Euclid University), an intergovernmental institution mandated to support global capacity-building. He also holds an MSc in Natural Resource Management from the University of Leicester, an MSc in Enterprise Computing from the University of Derby, an MSc in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) from the University of Leeds, and additional qualifications in Development Studies, Information Systems, and the Circular Economy. His academic and professional work integrates systems thinking, ecological economics, spatial analysis, and low‑carbon development—an approach that aligns strongly with EUCLID's mission to advance sustainable development across its member states.

Climate Change and Sustainability, and supervised research in environmental economics, climate adaptation, natural resource management, and environmental health. His broader career includes delivering 57 dam and catchment restoration projects, facilitating 33 Environmental Impact Assessments, and supporting 20 small‑scale irrigation schemes as part of climate resilience and rural development initiatives. Oliver brings an interdisciplinary, justice‑oriented, and practice‑grounded perspective to teaching and research and is committed to contributing to EUCLID’s global, mission‑driven academic community.
