Over four years at EUCLID University, my doctoral experience has been defined by uncompromising academic rigor, intensive research, and close faculty supervision. Through my PhD in Sustainable Development and Diplomacy and ongoing PhD in International Law and Treaty Law, I have benefited from world-class study materials and the diplomatic standards of a treaty-based university, without compromise on quality or academic accuracy. The interdisciplinary training has strengthened my analytical, diplomatic, and persuasive capacities, deepened my expertise in international law and environmental governance, and enhanced my ability to contribute effectively to public governance and multilateral environmental agreement negotiations. My experience affirms that academic quality, flexibility, affordability, and global reputation can coexist at EUCLID University.

Biography:

Dr. Samuel Confidence Dotse is a Ghanaian climate expert, environmentalist, diplomat, and humanitarian with over two decades of experience in climate policy and action. He is the founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the HATOF Foundation, a Ghanaian environmental NGO focused on renewable energy, conservation, and sustainable resource management. : Through the HATOF Foundation, he has been instrumental in securing over $150 million in climate finance for Ghana to address environmental challenges. He serves on key international and continental bodies: Africa's Special Envoy on Climate Change for the International Society of Diplomats (ISD); Board Member of the Stakeholder Advisory Network on Climate Finance ;Expert Member of the African Scientific Research and Innovation Council of the African Union ; and Accredited observer to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC). Major Awards & Recognition •2025 Millennium Excellence Awards: Received the "Laureate of Distinction in Climate Change" from the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, for his contributions to sustainability and environmental protection. •2024 Ghana Philanthropy Award: Received the "Excellence in Environmental Protection and Development" award for his dedication to environmental conservation and sustainable development. •2023 "Distinguished Award for Meritorious Service": Honored by the Anlo Traditional Council and Keta Municipal Assembly for his support to the community. •2015 "Silver Tongue Award": Received from the UN Environment and the University of Eastern Finland for his negotiations on the Paris Agreement.
