Prof Kenneth Yongabi Anchang

Professor of Public Health and Research

Professor Kenneth Yongabi Anchang is a distinguished scholar and practitioner in public health, infectiology, and phytobiotechnology, serving as a Professor of Public Health and Research at Euclid University. He holds an M.Sc. from Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University in Nigeria and a Ph.D. from the University of Adelaide in South Australia. His prolific research output includes over 170 peer-reviewed articles, more than 100 contributions to professional bodies, and a focus on leveraging indigenous knowledge to produce therapeutics.

Research & Interests + Publications:

Beyond his academic research, Professor Yongabi Anchang is deeply engaged in practical and educational initiatives. He is the founder and director of the Phytobiotechnology Research Foundation (PRF) Institute in Cameroon, a center dedicated to developing low-cost, homegrown technologies for disease control and environmental health. His professional experience includes serving as a Research Fellow at Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University, a Visiting Professor and Fellow at Swinburne University in Australia, and a Professor of Public Health at both Imo State University and the Claretian University of Nigeria. He also serves as the Dean of Health Sciences at Claretian University of Nigeria and leads the Centre of Excellence for the Promotion of Indigenous Knowledge and Technology (AIKIT) there, where he coined key terms such as "phytobiotechnology" and "phytodisinfectants"
