Overview

Shape the Future of Global Diplomacy — From Anywhere in the World

The EUCLID MDIA is the world’s only Master’s degree in diplomacy and international affairs delivered by a genuine intergovernmental, treaty-based university (established under United Nations Treaty Series 49006/49007). Designed and used by active diplomats, ambassadors, and senior government officials across four continents, this flagship program stands apart from traditional academic degrees. It prioritizes real-world diplomatic practice over abstract theory, equipping professionals with the practical skills, strategic insight, and global perspective needed to excel in today’s complex international arena.

Why the EUCLID MDIA?

  • Intergovernmental Authenticity: Offered by an institution created by multilateral treaty and recognized by the United Nations Secretariat as accredited. EUCLID degrees carry the prestige of an organization serving multiple Participating States and maintaining active diplomatic relations.
  • Practice-First Curriculum: Courses emphasize the actual application of diplomacy — from multilateral negotiations and treaty law to conflict resolution, UN system operations, and protocol. The program is highly customizable, with electives in high-impact areas such as sustainable economic development, inter-religious and inter-ethnic relations, energy diplomacy, small-island issues, e-government, and regional affairs (African Union, European Union, etc.).
  • Fully Online & Flexible: Asynchronous study mode designed for working professionals. Complete the 36–40 US credit hour (54–60 ECTS) program in 12–28 months while continuing your career. No residency required.
  • Proven Outcomes: Alumni include current and former ambassadors, ministers, and high-level officials. Graduates have advanced to senior roles in governments, NGOs, international organizations, multinational corporations, and global media.
  • Exceptional Value: One of the most affordable high-quality options available, with low tuition and special scholarship opportunities for officials from Participating States, ECOWAS members, and other intergovernmental staff.

Whether you are already a diplomat seeking formal credentials, a government professional aiming for international advancement, or an outstanding candidate passionate about global affairs, the EUCLID MDIA delivers the rigorous, practitioner-focused training that translates directly into career impact.

Academic Presentation

This unique Master’s degree focuses on diplomatic practice and the actual application of theoretical knowledge, rather than the advancement of academic knowledge for its own sake. Also, international relations are examined from the unique perspectives of various actors including developing countries.

The EUCLID MDIA is used by professional diplomats working for EUCLID Participating States and can be considered an excellent route to pursue a career within governmental bodies, NGOs and international organizations.

Thanks to its low tuition and institutional relationships, it is of special interest to European and African students.

Within certain parameters, the EUCLID Online Masters in Diplomacy (similar in contents to what other institutions present as an Online Masters in International Relations) is customizable, with elective courses focusing on:

  • Regional diplomatic affairs
  • International Relations: from theory to practice
  • Small islands issues
  • Inter-ethnic and inter-religious relations
  • E-government
  • Sustainable economic development
  • Non-governmental organizations
  • International Law and Treaty Law
