Welcome to EUCLID’s dedicated resource page for international students. EUCLID (Euclid University) is an intergovernmental organization established under international law, offering high-quality online education in fields related to sustainable development, diplomacy, and global affairs. As an international student, you’ll find our programs flexible, accessible, and tailored to professionals and scholars worldwide. Below, we outline key aspects of admissions priorities, program delivery, scholarships, and research focus areas to help you navigate your application and studies.
Admissions Priorities
EUCLID is committed to serving the needs of its participating states and international partners. Admissions decisions are guided by the following priorities:
1. Primary Priority Group: Priority is given to officials, civil servants, and citizens of EUCLID participating states. These include member countries such as The Gambia, Central African Republic, Comoros, Eritrea, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Sierra Leone, Timor-Leste, and Vanuatu, among others. This ensures that our programs support capacity-building in these nations.
2. Secondary Priority Groups: Beyond the primary group, EUCLID prioritizes staff members of intergovernmental organizations (IGOs) as well as faculty members at academic and research institutions. This reflects our mission to foster global collaboration and expertise in diplomacy and international development.
If you fall into one of these categories, please highlight this in your application to expedite review. All applicants are evaluated based on academic qualifications, professional experience, and alignment with EUCLID’s goals.
Program Delivery and Structure
EUCLID’s programs are designed for working professionals and international students, emphasizing flexibility without compromising academic rigor.
– Online Delivery: All degree programs are delivered primarily online through our learning management system. This allows you to study from anywhere in the world, with asynchronous coursework, interactive forums, and virtual mentorship.
– Optional Residency Components: To enhance practical learning, optional residency seminars and sessions are available. These can be attended at our headquarters in The Gambia or through our academic partner, EULER , with locations in Amsterdam (Netherlands) and Willemstad (Curaçao). These residencies provide opportunities for networking, workshops, and hands-on projects, but they are not mandatory for degree completion.
Scholarships and Financial Aid
EUCLID is dedicated to making education accessible. We offer a range of scholarships based on merit, need, and priority status.
