Introduction to the EUCLID-Claretian University Nigeria Partnership
EUCLID (Euclid University), an intergovernmental institution dedicated to accessible higher education in sustainable development, diplomacy, and global health, is proud to partner with Claretian University of Nigeria, a dynamic Roman Catholic university recognized by the Nigerian government and committed to holistic education and community service. Established through a Memorandum of Understanding signed in July 2022, this collaboration aims to enhance educational opportunities across the ECOWAS region and beyond, fostering international cooperation in academic programs that align with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
At the heart of this partnership is a commitment to supporting students enrolled in joint or affiliated programs, particularly through on-campus resources at Claretian University. This includes access to facilities such as libraries, laboratories, ICT centers, and academic support units, enabling EUCLID students in Nigeria to benefit from in-person guidance, tutoring, and administrative assistance while pursuing their online or hybrid degrees. By leveraging Claretian’s vibrant campus in Maryland Nekede, the partnership ensures that learners receive comprehensive, localized support to thrive in their studies, bridging the gap between global intergovernmental education and regional capacity building in Africa. This initiative not only empowers students with practical resources but also promotes cross-cultural exchange and institutional synergy for long-term educational impact.
